Introducing The Stay Ready Challenge! If you’ve ever felt that jolt of anxiety when a licensing inspector unexpectedly knocks on your door, you’re not alone. I’ve been there, and I get it. Even when you think you’re prepared, that feeling of being under scrutiny can be nerve-wracking. That’s why I created this challenge—to help childcare providers like us stay prepared and breeze through those inspections. The Stay Ready Challenge is a 5-day guide to getting yourself ready for the next licensing visit. Each day focuses on a specific area, making sure everything is up-to-date and in order.

The process can be adapted for wherever you are. And hey, if there’s stuff in the challenge that doesn’t apply to you, no sweat. Let’s focus on what matters. Plus, I’m all about keeping things manageable. You don’t have to run through the whole challenge every time. Maybe do safety checks weekly and the rest monthly—whatever works best for you. Just remember, this isn’t a one-time deal. Regular checks keep you on top of things.
